Kriya Coaching Classes is a premier supplementary education centre based in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. Founded by Nitin Saxena — a researcher, academic mentor and educator with over 25+ years of teaching experience — Kriya was built with a singular purpose: to bridge the gap between what schools teach and what students genuinely need to thrive.
The name Kriya is derived from Sanskrit, meaning purposeful action. Every session we conduct, every student we work with, every plan we build — it is all purposeful. We do not fill pails; we light fires.
Nitin Saxena began teaching when he was in Class 7 and never stopped. From home tutoring and school teaching to coaching institute sessions and NEET crash courses in PU colleges — teaching has always been both his passion and his purpose. Over 25+ years, he has taught over 30,000 students of varied age groups, mindsets, interests, and capabilities, personally witnessing their progress not just in academics but in life.
Having worked across engineering, academic research (PhD, IISc Bengaluru), and corporate, Nitin saw first-hand that education in India had become a race to fill marks rather than build minds. Students were memorising, not understanding. They were scoring, but not growing. Most students leaving school were academically sound but personally underprepared for the real world. Something needed to change.
Kriya was founded on a bold idea: that a coaching centre could do more than prepare students for exams. It could prepare them for life. By integrating academic excellence with personal development, life skills, mental health support, and career clarity — Kriya set out to create a new kind of educational environment. One where students are known, valued, and nurtured as whole human beings.

What started as a small, intimate tutoring initiative has grown into a full-spectrum educational centre serving 400+ students from 55+ schools across Bengaluru.
